Was so fortunate to attend 3 excellent presentations in 2 Sitecore User Group Meetups. And obviously Symposium was exceptional.
Also Hosted and Co-organized SUG Queen City, Manchester, NH meetups with Mike Reynolds. 🙂

Glimpse of the meetup:

Sitecore Symposium 2018 @ Orlando
I personally see Symposium as Diwali in India, one of the biggest annual festival celebrated by all Sitecore community members gathered from across the globe. 4 days full of fun, food, knowledge and especially meeting those people in person with whom we are connected throughout the year on various virtual channels. Even the long flights, less sleeps-more drinks, damn packed schedule for whole 4 days doesn’t have any impact the level of enthusiasm. In fact people go home more energized and motivated for the entire next year until they meet again.
There are already so many blogs out on takeaways from Symposium hence I am not going to recite anything here. But this was my 2nd Symposium and I really enjoyed a lot every single moment in Orlando. Obviously it was great meeting again with John West, Akshay Sura, Kamruz Jaman, Corey Smith, Jason Wilkerson, Chris Auer, Alex Shyba, Chris Williams, Mike Thompson, Derek Dysart, Jeff L’Heureux, Jason St-cyr, Jacqueline Baxter, Chris Haddad, Ola,Rick Cabral,Zachary Kniebel, Mark Stiles, Suresh Devanan, Pete Navarra, Neil Shack, Richard Seal, Grant Killian, Tamas Varga, Srikanth Kondapally, Chaturanga Ranatunga, Nabil Orfali, Adam Najmanowicz, Mark Van Aalst, Kamsar, Ben Lipson, Hishaam Namooya, Jagmohan Rathore, Kiran Patil, Brijesh Patel, Abhishek Singh, Yogesh Patel, Vishal Gupta and Ashish Bansal with Mike Reynolds.
And I was blessed this time to meet for the very first time with Michael West, Thomas Eldblom, Mark Cassidy, Peter Prochazka, Sabin Ephrem, Nilesh Thakkar, Vinicius Deschamps, Nick Wesselman, Maulik Darji, Himadri Chakrabarti, Una Verhoeven, Jeff Darchuk, Jeremy Davis, Stephen Pope, Dylan young, Martina Welander, Ishraq Al Fataftah, Adam Weber, Sean Holmesby, Joao Neto, Duaa Abu Gharbieh, Rodrigo Peplau, Scott Freeman, Bruce Davis-Goff, Mohammad AbuJaffal and many more.
Mercy if I missed anyone, ignore this human error. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Without any doubt I was unlucky this time to meet you Robert Hock. 😦
Last but not the least I would like to end this blog by admitting that Mike Ebeling has changed something in me by inspiring with his extraordinary contributions to the society by utilizing technology for good causes. Hats off to you sir!!! I will never forget your session at Symposium and will try my best to find out – Who is my Daniel?
And yes, if you missed the Symposium this year and want to download all the presentations? Good News, Bas Lijten created this awesome script which can download all the presentation at once for you. Isn’t it great? Click here and follow Bas’s instructions to download the decks.
Thanks everyone for sharing your amazing knowledge on these topics. Looking forward for more meetups in upcoming months.
